This webinar series may be of interest to international medical graduates (IMGs) who do not participate in U.S. programs of graduate medical education.
For the first webinar in this series, ECHO is partnering with the American Medical Association International Medical Graduates Section (AMA-IMGS) to bring you information on career opportunities in the field of genetics. Erica Ramos, President-elect of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), will discuss the role of genetic counselors along with the steps required to pursue this path. Dr. Rizwan Naeem, Director, ABMG Lab Genetics Fellowship Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, will share his experience in the genetics field and provide insight on opportunities in research and other programs.
